A supplementary text sign shall be used to increase comprehension except when the safety sign is supplemented by manuals, instructions or training. A supplementary sign may be used to identify what extinguishing media is in the fire extinguisher: Foam, CO2, Powder, Water, Nitrogen, Gases other than CO2.
