The International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code governs the processes by which classified cargo may be transported by sea.

The code provides guidance on emergency response procedures in case of incidents involving dangerous goods during maritime transport.

For marking of a package the minimum dimention must be 100x100mm.

For marking of cargo transport unit, the minimum dimention must be 250x250mm.
